This lifestyle app offers users the ability to buy or rent the latest movies and classic films, and stream or download them on their Sky+ or PC devices. The app allows users to watch their favorite content anytime, anywhere, even without an internet connection.
With the Sky Store Player app for iOS, users can download their purchased or rented movies and watch them offline. They can also enjoy the latest movies straight from the cinema and sync their content across all their registered devices.
It's worth noting that the Sky Store Player is available on any iOS device with iOS 8 or newer. However, using the app on a 3G/4G connection requires a high data transfer volume, which may lead to exceeding the data limit set by the user's cellular provider and incurring additional costs.
To protect the rights of their partners and for security reasons, Sky Store is not supported on devices where the operating system restrictions have been removed or manipulated. Additionally, Sky Store does not support video output or screen mirroring due to studio limitations.
